Small intemediate area between the Cachorro and Conceição beaches (hence the name Praia do Meio, or Beach of the Middle), this is a calm beach with swimming pools in stones, but turbulent and forbidden for bathing at rough sea.

At the limit with the beach and the Conceição islet you will find the "Pedra do Pião" (Spinning Stone - image below), a very big stone balanced over smaller stones, an evidence that there has not been earthquakes in Fernando de Noronha lately.
